Crude/Condensate: Jan 29-Feb 2: INPEX sells Apr Murban

Middle East Crude

In trade for Abu Dhabi grades, April-loading spot cargoes already changed hands. INPEX sold Murban, Das and Upper Zakum at the prices linked to the OSPs. INPEX sold two cargoes of April-loading Murban to European Gunvor at premiums of about 20cts to the OSP while INPEX also sold one cargo to United Petroleum & Chemicals Co (UNIPEC) at the same price.

INPEX sold one cargo of Das to European Vitol at premiums of 3cts to the OSP. INPEX also sold one cargo of April-loading Upper Zakum to European Glencore at discounts of 5cts to the OSP while INPEX also sold 500,000barrels of Upper Zakum to UNIPEC at discounts of 4cts to the OSP.

 

African/European/Russian/American Crude

In the trade of US grades bound for Asia, South Korea's SK Energy, GS Caltex and Japan's Taiyo Oil purchased US grades May arrival. SK procured a total of 2.0 mil bbls of WTI Light (WTL) and Eagle Ford 50 from French Total Energies and GS Caltex procured 2.0 mil bbls of WTL from US Chevron. The prices for these cargoes were heard at premiums of low $4.00s to Dubai quotes on a CFR basis. Taiyo Oil was believed to have procured WTI Midlands. In tender related news, India's IOC was said to have purchased Angolan Nemba and Nigerian Agbami in its early March-loading sweet crude buy tender on top of WTI Midlands. The price details were unknown but the seller for both grades was US Chevron.

 

Asia Pacific Crude

In the trade of March-loading Malaysian condensates, Malaysia's stated-owned Petronas apparently awarded a Muda sell tender to Thailand's PTT Public Co (PTT) at discounts in the $3's to Dated Brent. Meanwhile, Petronas seemed to have awarded a March-loading Cakerawala sell tender at discounts in the $3's to Dated Brent. The winner seemed to have been one Major. In trade for March-loading condensates, Woodside apparently sold Pluto to SK Energy at discounts in the $8's Dated Brent.
