TOCOM LNG futures transacted for 2 days in row

On Tuesday, the December contract of LNG futures on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange (TOCOM) was traded. The transaction prices were at Yen 2,000-2,015 (about $13.94-14.04) per mmBtu. The transactions were made for two consecutive days. A broker said, "The transactions today were not apparently accompanied by power trades, implying a possible hedging associated with physical LNG trades rather than spark spread."
